The World is a Prosthesis for the Soul
(Figures of Light)
Sound, breath, energy.
In the years from 2012 to 2016, I made a series of works inspired by the practice of Yoga. Mainly these are visualizations received during the execution of the exercises, during deep relaxation and in the meditation phase. The series is divided into two interconnected categories, the FIGURES OF LIGHT or celestial, energetic bodies that hover in the air and the twisted MEN on the ground.
The world is a prosthesis for the soul , it is a project born in the late nineties in Naples, a path of reuniting matter with energy and the visible with the invisible, a visionary work made of images with which I would like stimulate you to look inside your life to discover your universe and your infinite potential.
The Beings of energy or astral, also called Figures of light , are transparent bodies that hover in the air and are often described as apparitions composed of light energy.
They can be found in ancient myths and Nordic legends, they also often appear in tales about the paranormal and have something to do with ghosts, they are present in the testimonies concerning ufology, and of course they have also become part of the most recent literature. fantastic, fantasy and science fiction.
In my case, the first conscious contact with these forms of life took place in the spiritual field, in a period in which I was very assiduous in meditation which put me in a state of openness and affinity with their vibrations. I opened the energy channels, addressed the antennas and they sent me a personal, positive and reassuring message.
When we are tuned to high frequencies we too emanate light and our thoughts our words and actions contribute to the realization of the new world in the New Era and then ... we too are beings of light.

(Little men in space and traffic)
The world is a prosthesis for the soul and a path of reconnection of matter with energy, of the ego with the cosmos . Started in 1998 in the Neapolitan hinterland, the project has developed through various experiences and using different means, from video installation to painting and even performance.
In the series that follows I distinguish my works into two interconnected types: the works on traffic , a mass of urban asphalt that swallows metal and flesh and the paintings on space , the energy body of the soul.
Also part of this project are the Hidden Works , closed boxes that conceal art understood as vital energy, and the Road Signs , a work on civic respect for others in the urban context.
